Dear Bluedogs community, past and present,
I’m honoured to step into the role of President as we head into the 2026 season, our 56th year as a club proudly serving this community. The Bluedogs have always been about more than football; we’re about connection, development, and creating a space where men, women, and children can grow through the game we all love.
For me, this is a true homecoming. I first pulled on a Bluedogs jersey as an uncoordinated 11-year-old back in 1998, playing U12s with my school friends. Those early days gave me the foundation to go on and play in the Women’s Super League and Women’s Premier League in Sydney. Returning to Bangalow in 2023 with my own family, I found myself back where it all began, this time in the women’s Div 3 team in 2025.
What struck me most this season was the passion and commitment of our players, volunteers, and supporters. It inspired me to step up, give back, and help guide the next chapter of this great club.
Together with our new committee, I’m excited to focus on visibility and transparency on the club’s priorities, working on a 3 year plan to improve our grounds and facilities, and continuing to build a welcoming, community-first culture. With your support, I know we can make 2026 a season to remember.
Here’s to “kicking some goals” both on and off the pitch this year. Go Bluedogs! 🐾⚽
