Changes to training times or days can be requested via WhatsApp once the teams and coaches are allocated.
Players must wear soccer boots and shin pads during training. Junior and Mini Roos players will be issued with a training shirt.

Coaching
We welcome all parents, carers or community members who wish to contribute to the success of the club by volunteering to become a coach.
Each team will benefit from any additional assistance to ensure there is always someone available for training and games.
We recommend Junior Teams have at least 2 nominated ‘coaches’ even if one is only available for either training or games.
If you are interested in coaching a junior team, please contact:

If you are interested in coaching a senior team, please contact:

It is a requirement for all coaches and officials to complete a Volunteer Working With Children Check. This is a quick and free process that can be done online through Service NSW.
You can find Coaching Resources on the Norther NSW Football website.
Coaching course and training
Bangalow Soccer Club is committed to supporting our coaches to ensure all teams are provided a base standard of coaching.
Our commitment to this is demonstrated by covering the cost of the Foundations of Football Course run by Northern NSW Football for those coaches interested in completing the course.
Skill Acquisition Phase (SAP)
Advanced development for dedicated young footballers from U9's to U12's
What is SAP?
The Skill Acquisition Phase (SAP) is an advanced tier of coaching designed for players aged 8–11 who wanted to take their game beyond the social level. The program focuses on mastering individual technical skills while building the foundations of structured team play.
Program Commitments:
Selection: Entry is merit-based. Players must attend grading/trials to be selected for a team.
Training: High-intensity team training twice a week.
Extras: Opportunities for additional specialist skill sessions throughout the season.
Focus: Bridging the gap between grassroots football and competitive youth performance.
